The (one and only) OEE book is now available!

OEE-boek

Your machinery could actually be twice as large as you think. That’s because in addition to every machine there is often an identical ‘hidden’ machine. The trick is to reveal this hidden capacity and use it.

The Mystery of the Hidden Machine offers you the key to unlocking this secret: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). This measuring instrument, which originated in Japan, sheds light on production losses and consequently enables them to be solved using improvement strategies such as TPM, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

The book is suitable for both extensive study and a quick scan of the key points of OEE. In other words, it is the ideal guide for operators, mechanics and team leaders, as well as management and human resources.

The OEE book is available from the FullFact webshop:

Blom Client Day 2007

Blom Relatiedag 2007

The fifth consecutive Blom Client Day was a huge party. In fact, it was even bigger than usual in honor of our 15th anniversary. The special anniversary theme was part of the location and the day’s events. There was cake during the welcome speech, an exciting finish to the World Class Team Competition, speeches by guest speakers Jan Maas (Corus) and Hilde Meijs (Zorginstellingen Oranjehaeve - De IJpelaar - Aeneas), a dazzling performance by Redondo Música and a short concert by emcee Kasper van Kooten, all of which added to the festive mood.
